Hey guys,
as you know, i'm currently back into the heartcore band live recordings and digging them.
i especially love kurt's sound in them and i've always wondered how he gets that kind of 'doubling' sound on this record. it's almost as if there was an octaver pedal in front of the distortion or something else.
I LOVE this sound it's really organic and expressive, but also really processed and almost synth like in a great way.
so my guess is
d'angelico
polytone (2004 is still polytone era, right?)
rat
DL4
i do hear a kind of always on tremolo on the recording so as kurt stated he uses this trick, i would say a subtle, always on, tremolo
?? the 'magical' thing? if there is something?
could it just be the rat with it's kind of separation between bass and treble channels?
any suggestion would be appreciated
